The city of Torrance, California, is in Los Angeles County and was incorporated in 1921. In 2011, Torrance was a finalist in the “All-American City Award.” It features a warm climate year-round, which means there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy its amazing beach or take in the historic charm of Old Torrance. It is part of the South Bay region, and it is a roughly 20-mile drive from Torrance to downtown Los Angeles.
 
Torrance features a healthy residential-to-business-district ratio, allowing for ease and access as well as comfort and quiet. There are plenty of single-family homes and some luxury condominiums as well. There are several parks around Torrance, as well as a beautiful natural preserve. It contains over 250 stores in three stories and is one of the largest malls in the United States. There are even escape rooms courtesy of Back In Time Escape Rooms.
